Dear Mr. cil:
K
i
s ,- `- On February 29, 2000, I met with you at the subject property. An evaluation of the stream features were
performed to determine whether the site would require compliance with the Neuse Buffer Rule. This
specific project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO-00-031.
The features represented on the Wake County Soils and the USGS Lake Wheeler quad maps
were evaluated to determine their subjectivity to the Neuse Buffer Rule. It was determined that
there is only one feature indicated on the soils map. This feature begins off property and is subject to the
Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of
Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233). This feature and the
required buffer are depicted on the plat map received by this Office on March 3, 2000.
This letter addresses only those issues involving the riparian area. For information relative to the
Wetlands 401/404 issues, please contact Mr. John Dorney at 919-733-1786. Thank you for your
attention to this matter and if this Office can be of any assistance or if you have additional questions,
please do not hesitate to contact me at 571-4700.
