Dear Mr. Perry:
The information that was received by the Raleigh Regional Office on February 7, 2000 has been reviewed.
The plat map and other information was provided to allow a determination to be made as to whether or not
the site would require compliance with the Neuse buffer Rule. This specific project is referenced by the
Ralcigh Regional OfGcc'as NbQQO 00-021.
The Features represented on the Wilson County Soils and the Elm City USCS Quad maps were evaluated
to dctcrminc their subjectivity to the Neuse Buffer Rule. It was detcrmined that there are no features
depicted on either of the maps. Therefore, according to the Rule, this property is not subject to the
Neuse River basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing
Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02b.0233 (NCAC 0233).
This letter addresses only the applicability of the Neuse buffer Rules. For information relative to the
