Subject: REQUEST FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Quarry Hills Residential Subdivision
Dear Mr. Dischinger:
On December 31, 2019, the Division of Water Resources — Water Quality Programs (Division) received
your application dated December 23, 2019, requesting a 401 Water Quality Certification and Jordan
Lake Buffer Authorization from the Division for your project. The Division has determined that your
application is incomplete and cannot be processed. The application is on -hold until all of the following
information is received:
1. Please provide the Division a copy of your response to January 22, 2020 email from the U.S.
Army Corps of Engineers requesting additional information. [15A NCAC 02H .0502(c)]
2. Please provide documentation from the Town of Swepsonville that this project meets the
requirements of a Low -Density Project per the Town of Swepsonville's Stormwater Post
Construction Ordinance in accordance with NPDES Phase II requirements.
3. Please clearly show all utility corridors for the project on the plan sheets at a legible scale and
indicate if there will be any additional buffer impacts as a result of utility corridors.
4. Please provide a full-sized plan sheet showing the entire Phase 1 site with its storm drainage
system, including every inlet, outlet and conveyance device. Please show how diffuse flow
requirements have been met at every proposed outlet location. [15A NCAC 02B .0267(8))]
Pursuant to Title 15A NCAC 02H .0502(e) and 15A NCAC 02B .0267, the applicant shall furnish all of the
above requested information for the proper consideration of the application. Please respond in writing
within 30 calendar days of receipt of this letter by sending one (1) copy of all of the above requested

OR by submitting all of the above requested information through this
link: https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/Supplemental-Information-Form (note the DWR# requested on
the link is referenced above).
If all of the requested information is not received within 30 calendar days of receipt of this letter, the
Division will be unable to approve the application and it will be denied as incomplete. The denial of this
project will necessitate reapplication to the Division for approval, including a complete application
package and the appropriate fee.
Please be aware that you have no authorization under the Water Quality Certification Rules for this
activity and any work done within waters of the state may be a violation of North Carolina General
Statutes and Administrative Code.
