Started walking along East Prong Hunting Creek (EPHC) then started up UT2. R proposed, looked fine. A lot of potential wetlands along EPHC. I believe we convinced Paul to talk to Jeff about. Had some cows, with horns that liked to sprint... 2. Upper UT2 could have some flow issues, but R a good approach. 3. Walked down lower EPHC reach then up UT1 (not labeled?). Bottom portion looked ok for R. This section, however, is linked to them turning the current flow and running to EPHC. Currently this flow makes a 90 degree turn and runs into a pond/channel parallel to Hawkins Dr. There was significant discussion about this, and how it will affect the other jurisdictional waters and whether they had permissions from the other affected landowners. 4. Then walked up UT1 thru reach 2, some of which did not seem to need quite as much work, especially in the upstream portion before the road culvert. I believe we decided ok to go with R but discuss in mit plan. S. Walked up stream along reach 1, proposed as preservation. One issue, landowner had just clear cut on stream left adjacent to easement (violation of option agreement). Also, discussed appropriate ratio for this reach, one given the current channel condition and two, the adjacent land clearing. Requested additional buffer on both sides with some minimal work for a 7.5:1 ratio?? Watch for the sprinting cows... ry E •. AH
