Inspection Summary:
MRO staff met with Tanya Setzer and Daniel Perry (Belmont), and David Key (Southern Soil Builders) to review active land
application at site BT 9-01 / NC-GA-009-01. Belmont staff also completed their internal field inspection. The MRO
inspection continued at the Belmont WWTP for review of residuals storage and additional records. Both the facility and field
site appeared to meet residuals program requirements at the time of inspection.
Ms. Setzer requested information on the EPA biosolids reporting. The following link was emailed on July 19th.

Comment: Viewed active land application at field BT 9-01 / NC-GA-009-01. Met with Belmont WWTP staff,
who conduct their own internal inspections. This permit currently does not require groundwater
monitoring. Soils are assessed with new land sites to the program. Permittees and LA
contractors are reminded to re -assess Seasonal High Water Table, as area wet -weather
conditions dictate, and adjust buffers accordingly.
