Dear Bethany and Suzanne,
1
I discovered that the Adden billing was diverted to us (don’t know how) commencing in 2016, and our accounting
department has been paying it automatically. There hasn’t been any manufacturing activity since Adden moved out in
March 2016.
I request that any payments that have been made since then be refunded to us, if you think that is proper.
Thank you for your help and consideration.
My best regards,
William F. (Bill) Hadley

Yes, please wait on Bill to contact us before inactivating. Let's also wait on letting Deborah know what to do
with the outstanding fee until we have all the information.
Thanks!

Just to verify, I need to wait till Bill contacts me before I inactivate this permit.
Also, do I have Deborah waive the outstanding fee for 2018?

Subject: Billing for Adden Furniture NCG180098
Bill,
I am so sorry I was unable to return your call yesterday. I am out of the office until Monday, but if you want to
contact Suzanne McCoy to sort this out, she should be available.
Suzanne, this is a site that ARO inspected and concurred no industrial activity was present, but the old owner
Adden Furniture could not be contacted to request a rescission. I checked with Deborah about why the fee
had been recently paid anyway, hoping there was a link to a contact with Adden. Bill (not with Adden but at
the site) wondered if someone there had paid the invoice not understanding what it was for, and he was going
to look into it further with his accounting contact. He has follow up information to share.
Ultimately I think we'll have to inactivate the COC for Adden, but we needed to make sure staff at the site
weren't paying any more invoices to keep the permit active in another company's name.
Bill, I am also glad to connect with you next week to sort this out.
