The current proposed mitigation for Non -Riparian wetlands is 0.04 acres. This amount is less than the proposed amount of 0.07 acres. An NCDMS acceptance letter has been received for the additional amount of 0.03 acres of non -riparian wetland impacts (see Attachment C for NCDMS Acceptance Letter). The increase in impacts is a result of a calculation error in the original application. The current mitigation request for riparian buffer in the Neuse Basin for Zone 1 impacts is 954,904 square feet. This amount exceeds the proposed amount of 847,538 square feet, by 107,366 square feet. The current mitigation request for riparian buffer impact in the Neuse for Zone 2 impacts is 576,863. This amount of Zone 2 riparian buffer impact exceeds the proposed Zone 2 impacts of 525,111 square feet by 51,752 square feet. The current mitigation request for stream mitigation in the Neuse is 20,086 linear feet. This amount exceeds the proposed amount of 11,297 linear feet of stream by 8,789 linear feet. Impact details can be found in Appendix C Table D. The new proposed impact amounts approved by NCDMS for R-2828 were multiplied by the appropriate mitigation ratios to calculate the proposed mitigation amounts in Table 25 (2:1 for streams and wetlands, 3:1 for Zone 1 riparian buffer impacts, and 1.5:1 for Zone 2 riparian buffer impacts).
