Compensatory Mitigation
The avoidance and minimization efforts incorporated into the final design resulted in reduction of
compensatory mitigation for permanent impacts to riparian wetlands of 1.20 acres (38.52-37.32),
17,578 (40,172 - 22,594) linear feet of streams, and 399,725 (3,730,006 - 3,330,281) square feet of
buffers from the preliminary design. There is an increase in the compensatory mitigation for non -
riparian wetlands impacts to 0.06 (0.08 -0.14) acres. The increase in impacts is a result of a calculation
error in the original application. Impact details can be found in Table D.
