After review of information and supporting documentation, the above referenced grouts are
approved for use in well installations with the following stipulations:
• Grouts are used for their intended purposes (i.e., for water supply wells, monitoring
wells, geothermal closed -loop geothermal wells, etc.).
• Grouts are mixed and emplaced in accordance with grouting requirements referenced
in 15A NCAC 02C .0100 and/or .0200.
• Grouts must be used in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications.
• Products are handled per the precautions indicated on product labeling and MSDS
sheets, if applicable.
• Any variations in the chemical or physical makeup of these products, or the use of
different mixture ratios will require approval or a variance issued by DWR before
usage.
• This approval does not constitute a product approval endorsement from the Division
of Water Resources.
