This pump station is intended to serve 68 single family units in the Fletcher's Mill and an additional 183 units to the north and south of Fletcher's Mill. It is also anticipated the pump station will serve a future school with 150 students to the north of Fletcher's Mill. The Fletcher's Mill pump station will consist of a duplex submersible lift station in accordance with the City of Durham standards. A newly installed 6-inch force main will be routed approximately 2,652 feet in length and discharged into an existing gravity sanitary sewer manhole along Fletchers Chapel Road.
