the volume of wastewater to be permitted in this project has been evaluated along the route to the
receiving wastewater treatment facility and that the flow from this project is not anticipated to
cause any capacity related sanitary sewer overflows or overburden any downstream pump station
en route to the receiving treatment plant under nonnal circumstances, given the implementation of
the planned improvements identified in the planning assessment where applicable. This analysis
has been performed in accordance with local established policies and procedures using the best
available data, This certification applies to those items listed above in Sections I and 11 plus all

stations off the Lick Creek Lift Station. The total added capacity due to the SRLS at the
Lick Creek Lilt Station is 0.327 MGD which will provide a net capacity of 0.037 MGD.
The SRLS permit number is WV 0040459 dated 12/06/2018.

Given reasonably expected conditions and planning information, there is sufficient justification to
allow this flow to be permitted, without a significant likelihood of over -allocating capacity in the
system infrastructure.
I understand that this does not relieve the collection system owner from complying with G.S. 143-
215.67(a) which prohibits the introduction of any waste in excess of the capacity of the waste
disposal system.

Following is a brief project narrative for the proposed Fletcher's Mill Pump Station and Force Main, in Durham,
North Carolina:
Fletcher's Mill is a 35 acre residential development located on Fletchers Chapel Road north of Jimmy Rogers Road in
Durham, North Carolina. This pump station is intended to serve 68 single family units in the Fletcher's Mill and an
additional 183 units to the north and south of Fletcher's Mill. It is also anticipated the pump station will serve a
future school with 150 students to the north of Fletcher's Mill.
The Fletcher's Mill pump station will consist of a duplex submersible lift station in accordance with the City of
Durham standards. A newly installed 6-inch force main will be routed approximately 2,652 feet in length and
discharged into an existing gravity sanitary sewer manhole along Fletchers Chapel Road.

Please find the attached updated Sewer permit application. The Department of Water management for Durham could
only send send the system wide collection system permit number as noted in section V. We hope that meets your need
for the tie in.
