Records were available on site and appeared in order. Site appeared to be stable and well maintained.A rip rap check dam and inlet protection were observed in a jurisdictional stream.These need to be removed with hand tools before January 31, 2020. After a follow up conversation with Yates Allen (NCDOT), Mr.Allen clarified that the sediment and erosion control measures were within the footprint of the approved impacts and that the impacts had not been completed due to the trout moratorium. Mr.Allen said these would be removed. Follow up inspection was conducted on 1.14.2020 to verify that all rip rap had been removed. [15A NCAC 02H.0506(b)(3) and (c)(3)]. Rip rap check dams and inlet protection were observed in a jurisdictional stream. This was later clarified by NCDOT inspector Yates Allen that the measures were in the footprint of the approved impacts. Regardless, they would be removed until the moratoruim ends. page: 2
