As Director for the City of Statesvilles Water and Sewer Treatment Facilities I am
projecting budgetary needs for the next five (5) years. One aspect of budgeting that will have
a major impact is any changes or modifications in the referenced permits.

The Fourth Creek Permit will be up for renewal in November of 19 and Third Creek
in 1994. For budgeting purposes these dates are now upon us.
This letter is a request for a review of the referenced permits to result in a tentative or
speculative list of parameters to be reported and monitored. Numerical limits would be ideal
but may be difficult for you to generate at this time. My main interest is any projected lowering
of any limits as well as any additional parameters we may be required to monitor/treat for.
This information is needed by December 1 if at all possible.
