Iredell County
Final plans and specifications for the subject project have been
reviewed and found to be satisfactory. Authorization is hereby granted
for the construction•, of additional piping with equalizing boxes for the
existing secondary clarifiers, the addition of a polymer feed system,
including a :3,290 gallon polymer storage drum, and the installation of a
heated metal building to cover the existing air flotation thickener. You
are cautioned not to advertise or initiate construction until notified
by EPA, if State and Federal funding is desired for the construction of
said facilities.
This is a Class IV Wastewater Treatment Plant and the operator in
responsible charge must hold a valid Grant IV certificate.
This Authorization to Construct shall be subject to revocation unless
the proposed facilities are constructed in accordatce with the approved
plans, specifications, supporting documents, and are in compliance with the
conditions and limitations as specified in Permit No. NC0020591.
One (1) set of final approved plans and specifications is to be for-
warded to you, one (1) set to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),
and two (2) sets to the Corps of Engineers. You will be notified by EPA
when to advertise for bids to construct this project.
