As noted below, 2:1 rip rap fill would add 0.117 acres pf permanent surface water impacts in what is currently shown as “TS” on the attached 4C drawing. Please let me know if your agency has any concerns with this proposed change in design and impacts. Thanks! We’re using this stretch as the temp US 17 detour. Mason that me know your thoughts. The numbers below end up being 0.117 acres at 2:1 and 0.188 acres @ 3:1. Assuming we don’t put in the retaining wall, but put in our typical slope, please quantify surface water impacts to the pond. We can even tighten up the slope (2:1) if we have to. Impacts to the JS Non-Mit pond may be preferred over the construction and future maintenance of a wall in this location. We’ll need the impacts quantified to make the call. Thanks Trace R.
