The mitigation site is adjacent to and including Kennedy Mill Branch, within the Neuse River Basin, Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) 03020201. The purpose of this letter is to confirm the release of stream and wetland restoration credits associated with Year 6 Monitoring activities for this project. Pursuant to the Umbrella Mitigation Banking Instrument entitled, Pancho Stream and Wetland Mitigation Bank, approved April 26, 2012, and amended February 19, 2013; and the site -specific Pancho Stream and Wetland Mitigation Bank dated March 2012, five percent (5%) of the mitigation site's total stream restoration credits and ten percent (10%) of the mitigation site's total wetland restoration credits shall be available for sale provided the Year 6 monitoring report demonstrates interim performance standards are being met. By copy of this correspondence, we confirm that you have satisfied the above requirements for the Year 6 Monitoring credit release; and 421 stream mitigation units (SMUs) and 2.98 wetland mitigation units (WMUs) are now available for sale. To date, 90% of the total SMUs (7,578.3) and 90% of the total WMUs (26.89) have been released. Our records indicate that 7,157.3 SMUs and 23.9396 WMUs associated with this mitigation site have been debited as of November 2, 2018. Therefore, the current total amount of credits available for sale is 421 SMUs and 2.9804 WMUs. Please be aware that the Long Term Maintenance and Monitoring Performance Bond for the Pancho Stream and Wetland Mitigation Bank will expire on May 19, 2019. Failure to submit financial assurance prior to the expiration date may lead to a suspension in credit sales. Thank you for your interest in restoring and protecting waters of the United States.
