This letter is provided in response to your correspondence dated December 10, 2019,
which we received on December 16, 2019.
As was reported at that time there was debris, paper towels and baby wipes in the
manhole causing a partial blockage. When this occurred we reported that there was a
total of 950 gallons of Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) with 300 gallons overflowing into
Scotts Creek. After this incident occurred, TWSA took appropriate actions to remove the
debris from the manhole and had this section of sewer flowing back to normal within an
hour and forty-five minutes.
On December 3, 2019, this area was cleaned including this section of line. There was
approximately 4,208 feet of line cleaned in this area. TWSA crew used the jet machine
and the Pump Truck to clean the lines and manhole.
