I took the total square footage of the dock (around 441sq ft of deck) and used that not 60 sq ft. of what is imbedded in the lake. Reading your statement it is only 60 sq ft of the dock will be in the lake bed. The 15 concrete footings measuring 2x2 footings is all that will be embedded in the lake. Apologies for that confusion from my side Neil From: Annino, Amy M <amy.annino@ncdenr.gov> Sent: Tuesday, January 7, 2020 3:39 PM To: Neil Gurney <n.gurney@gatewaywf.org> Subject: DWR 20200014 Gurney, 174 Havnaers Point Circle Mr. Gurney, Please confirm the number of footers proposed for the lake bed. Sheet 1 of the drawing shows 15 concrete footings that will be 2x2 (4 sf) in the lake bed. This would calculate to a total of 60 sf or 0.001 acres of fill in the lake bed. The PCN indicates the impact to be 0.01 acres. Can you explain what additional fill is being proposed for 0.01 acres?
