Thank you for the timely response right after coming back to work. Based on the information you have provided I will
discuss with our client, but I don't see why we can't just use this documentation with the COC in our SPPP plan for now if
it's going to be a hassle to get the COC corrected if this documentation will suffice for now. Thank you so much for your

I apologize for the delayed response; I was out over the last two weeks.
I see the problem. The permit is tied to a different segment of this stream than it should be, and that segment has a
different class (see below). I will make the correction in our BIMS database right away. A screen shot of the correction
is also below.
Unfortunately, that change will not correct the form on-line. That form produces a renewal COC with data that was a
snapshot at the time of renewal; it is not updated in real time. However, it will be correct at the next renewal.
I recommend obtaining renewal COC on-line and also keeping a copy of this correspondence with Blythe Brothers
Asphalt's stormwater permit records. That documentation will be sufficient to record the correct waterbody
classification. Next week, our map of Active permits will be updated and will also reflect the change. If a corrected COC
is the only preference, Suzanne McCoy will have to draft one up manually and send it when she is able to. This may take
some time. Please advise us of the decision.

I was checking on the COC status of a client (Blythe Brothers Asphalt -Concord Plant) for their NPDES Stormwater
Renewal COC Request FOR Certificate NCG160001.
After reviewing the Surface Water Classifications map webpage the stream information lists a new classification of Class
C, see below and attached PDF.
Current Stream Classification
Stream Index: 13-17-6-(5.5)
Stream Name: Coddle Creek
Description: From a point 0.2 mile upstream of N.C. Hwy. 73 to Rocky River
Classification: C
Date of Class.: August 2, 1992
River Basin: Yadkin Pee -Dee
The stream information on the NPDES Stormwater Renewal COC Request webpage has the old stream classification of
WS-II;HQW.
I wanted to contact you about updating the COC for this permittee location with the current Stream Classification listing
of Class C for the receiving stream before submitting the form online.
