Dave,

The Old Beatty Ford Road widening project in Rowan County (W-5313) received @1.5” rain event on Friday. The
impervious dike failed causing a loss of more than a 5 gallon bucket. The sediment deposited a skim downstream, along
with debris from the site. The debris will be removed from downstream. Since the sediment is no more than a skim, it
will not be removed. The dike will be reinforced to prevent future issues. If you have any questions, please let me
