Wood pallets are restored and repaired at the CHEP facility. File Review/History: Charlotte Mecklenburg Storm Water Services (CMSWS) previously inspected the facility on February 23, 2016 when it was operated by IFCO Systems, Inc. The facility was observed to be in compliance with the City of Charlotte Storm Water Pollution Control Ordinance during the previous inspection. Inspection Summary: During the recent inspection, CHEP was observed to be in compliance with the City of Charlotte Storm Water Pollution Control Ordinance. Please refer to the report for comments and recommendations from the inspection. One of the containers is open top; the other two have lids. The lid was damaged on one of the waste containers. It is recommended that the waste containers be covered to prevent exposure to stormwater. Floor drains No From the previous inspection, it was confirmed that the floor drain located in the warehouse bathroom is plumbed to the sanitary sewer system. Spill response equipment Recommendation No spill kits were observed on the property. It is recommended that a spill kit be placed at the loading/unloading area for potential spills in that area.
