There was no obvious activity on site. It looks vacant but material that was left on site is still there. After my first visit back in April of 2013 I spoke to David Glover of Barnhill Contracting Co. and told him about piles of sand, gravel and broken concrete on site and that this material needs to be removed prior to us rescinding the permit. He said he will do it and inform me when the cleanup is complete. I did not hear from him again. My recommendation at this time is to deny the rescission. I have some pictures that I can e-mail to you if you need them, but they are about: same as pictures taken in April of 2013. Attached is the inspection report for this site visit. NCG160002 — Barnhill Contracting Company — New Bern Plant. They first requested rescission in December 2013. As of April 2013, you had said the site still had sand and gravel products that needed to be removed. NCG080784 — Republic Services of INC. They requested rescission in January 2013.
