Certificate of Coverage Number NCG 100120 .
Onslow County
On May 17. 2016, the Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources received your request to
rescind your coverage under Certificate of Coverage Number NCG100120. In accordance with
your request, Certificate of Coverage Number NCG 100120 is rescinded effective immediately.
Operating a treatment facility, discharging wastewater or discharging specific types of
stormwater to waters of the State without valid coverage under an NPDES permit is against
federal and state laws and could result in fines. if something changes and your facility would
again require stormwater or wastewater discharge permit coverage, you should notify this office
immediately. We will be happy to assist you in assuring the proper permit coverage.
If the facility is in the process of being sold, you will be performing a public service if you would
inform the new or prospective owners of their potential need for NPDES permit coverage.

Good morning Laura. I contacted Mr. Robert Yopp about his rescission request for NCG100120 (Bob's Auto Salvage in
Onslow County), which also includes the COC NCG100091 for McLamb's Auto Salvage in Cumberland County. He said he
has no idea why both COC numbers are on the form. He does not own both facilities. He mentioned that he uses a
consultant for his permitting needs so I'm guessing that the consultant inadvertently typed in the wrong COC number or
perhaps provided Mr. Yopp the form, which already had the COC number for McLamb's Auto Salvage on it. Anyway,
checked with McLamb's Auto Salvage and they are still in business and need to keep their permit coverage. Can the
rescission request for NCG100091 be removed from BIMS? Did the Wilmington office receive the rescission request for
NCG100120?
