Inspection Observations: The pit sump is in good condition and of sufficient size to provide
treatment of runoff prior to discharge. Filter berms were in place around the pit sump during the
inspection and on the day the sample was taken.
The stormwater sample was discussed and determined to be taken during a period of heavy
frequent rainfall. Normally the site would not discharge water from the pit during these conditions.
The location decided to discharge long enough to grab a sample and did not discharge any longer
that day. The water in the pit sump was allowed to settle providing ample treatment before this
water was discharged off -site.
Proposed Actions: The site will not discharge water from the pit until the stormwater runoff
has had ample treatment time.
