Elm Street project. My next question then for the ES Railroad Street is how will you keep live concrete from the stream? Coffer dam and/or pump around for the stream. The plans may be helpful. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to reaort.saam(@nc.2ov Joanne The large project on N Clark St. and ES Railroad St. where the road deck and headwall were washed away will require the removal of old lay in place burlap bags filled with concrete and anchored in place with rebar. The new head wall will require a footer poured in front of double culvert and a block headwall consisting of double blocks and rebar and poured full of concrete up to road deck. Then a poured headwall 30 inches above road deck reinforced with rebar. The other project is on N. Elm St. but the headwall there will able to be built on existing concrete box culvert and no work will actually be done in the canal. Not for sure if we needed a permit for that one as well. I will send pictures of the N Clark St and ES Railroad St.. I have the drawing from contractor I can send. Also in the e-mail you refer to 2 projects, is there another one besides the East S. Railroad Street headwall repair? If so, please give a brief description of that one as well.
