Zac,
Offsite sediment was observed into Stream 2 (Sta 267+70) yesterday evening at Line 330 Pleasant Garden.
The sediment (approx. 1 CY) was cleaned up today and ranged from a skim coat to a few inches. Perimeter BMPs have
also been reestablished to prevent this from occurring from future rain events.

Please accept this letter as written notification of a sediment release to Stream No. 2 (Station 267+70) on
the Piedmont Natural Gas Line 330 project, observed on December 18, 2019. The estimated quantity of
sediment was approximately 1 cubic yard (yd'). The sediment deposition ranged from a skim coat to a
few inches. All material was removed by hand and control measures have been repaired.
We will continue to focus on the daily erosion and sedimentation control (E&SC) measures for this
project to minimize the probability future occurrences.
If you have any questions or wish to discuss in further details, please contact Brad Loveland,
Environmental Specialist at 704-609-5637.
Sincerely,
