On August 3, 1999, I met with you at the subject property. An evaluation of the stream features were
{ performed to determine whether the site would require compliance with the Neuse Buffer Rule. This

determined during the site visit that the only feature present on this property that is subject to the Neuse
River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing
Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233) is the unnamed tributary to Black
_ Creek on the eastern property line. The other feature located at the proposed road crossing is not
subject.

This letter addresses only those issues involving the riparian area. For information relative to the
