` On July 13, 1999, I met with you at the subject property to conduct a site visit for the above referenced
project. This project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 99-175. The features
represented on the Johnston County Soils and the USGS maps were evaluated to determine their
subjectivity to the Neuse Buffer Rule.
As a result, it was determined that there re two unnamed tributaries to the Neuse River present on the
subject property. The feature along the eastern property line is delineated as unimpacted on the
construction diagram received by this Office July 19, 1999. The other feature is impacted by a minor
incursion into the buffered area by a road crossing. Both of these features are subject to the Neuse River
Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing
Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233).

.p The only impact depicted is 0.019 acre of impact by the road crossing. There are no additional impacts
- 4 indicated. This letter only addresses the applicability of the Neuse Buffer Rules. Thank you for your
