Jones Sausage Road Wake County Dear Mr. Stewart: On August 6, 1999, I conducted a site visit of the subject property. As a result, it was determined that the pond present on this property is not connected to waters of the State and therefore not subject to the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233). The feature exiting the pond is depicted on both the United States Geological Survey and Wake County Soils Maps but is not present on the ground. This change in geographic relief is most probably due to the construction of the municipal sewer line adjacent to Big Branch Creek. i .rThank you for your attention to this matter and if this Office can be of any assistance or if you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
