This project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 99-220. The features represented on the Wake County Soils and the USGS maps were evaluated to determine their subjectivity to the Neuse Buffer Rule. a J'i e ~ ba> As a result of the site visit it was determined that the feature adjacent to Highway 55 along the Durham and i 4ek? " Southern Railway, is a stream and subject to protection under the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive ` Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233) from property line to property line. In addition, the feature that begins to the south and runs off property and back on to the property and joins the feature at the railroad is subject from =t , S & E C Flag CH 36. -z g The pond and the feature (stream) formed at the outfall, are not subject to the Neuse Riparian Buffer Rule. This feature becomes a stream at S & E C Flag NBR 01 and is protected off property. A small wetland pocket becomes a subject feature at S & E C Flag NBR 03 and also travels off property. The required areas of subjectivity are delineated on the map received by this Office.
