[. B. HUNT.i 244 West Millbrook Road .RNOR Raleigh, N. C. 27609 Subject: Neuse River Basin Riparian Buffer Rules 4 NBRRO 99-215 cDCV S&EC #99-4871 Carpenter RV Resort Q Durham County Mr. Zarzecki: August 24, 1999 I met with you onsite and conducted a site visit. This project is referenced by the -igh Regional Office as NBRRO 99-215. The features represented on the Wake County Soils and the 3S maps were evaluated to determine their subjectivity to the Neuse Buffer Rule. t was determined from the site visit that there is one named creek, a pond, and three features present on this >roperty. Panther Creek runs from property line to property line, east to west near the northern edge, and s are subject to the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and daintenance of Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233). I "The two features and the pond to the south of Panther Creek are not subject to the Neuse Buffer Rule. The feature exiting the pond does become subject at S & EC Flag 113 and remains so until its confluence with ;w; Panther Creek. The unnamed tributary to the north is subject to buffer protection from the property line to • its confluence with Panther Creek. t-A Thank you for your attention to this matter and if this Office can be of any assistance or if you have ' additional questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
