Inspection Summary:
This is a private system for Coopers Pointe Apartments consisting of one pump station. Site was visited on 07/25/19 and
07/31/19 and is in non-compliance with the permit. Site personnel were unaware of a sewer system map, grease control
education, a spill response action plan, any sewer system inspections, maintenance records, or parts available for repairs.
The pump station is not secure. Any one can walk up to the pump station, remove a panel, and manipulate the controls. The
public would have access to the wet well since it can be accessed through the unsecured manhole. Site personnel did not
know how to check the telemetry and alarm system so the functionality is unknown. Site personnel did not know who would
be notified of an alarm in case of a spill or pump station malfuntion. In addition, the alarm was actually shut off manually at
the switch on the control board when the panel was opened.
