On October 14, 2019, staff form the Mooresville Regional Office, Water Quality Regional Operations
Section, sampled the influent and effluent lines of your geothermal underground injection well heat pump
system at the above stated address. The samples were analyzed by the Division of Water Resources
(DWR) laboratory for metals, nitrates and other organic and inorganic constituents.
A complete copy of the lab results and instructions on how to interpret the lab results are enclosed.
The results indicate, at the time of the sampling, that all measured parameters are consistent with previous
sampling events. The results also indicate that the constituents were below the 2L groundwater quality
standards.
