The site includes unnamed tributaries that flow into the Tar River Cataloging Unit (03020101). The purpose of this letter is to confirm the Year 1 monitoring credit release, which also includes Year 1 adaptive management plan. Pursuant to the Mitigation Banking Instrument (UMBI) entitled, Tar River Headwaters Stream Mitigation Bank, approved on January 27, 2017; the site -specific Tar River Headwaters Stream Mitigation Bank, approved on February 13, 2017; the Year 1 Monitoring Report dated November 2018; and the Adaptive Management Plan dated September 2019, ten percent (10%) of the mitigation site's total restoration and enhancement credits shall be available for sale provided the first year monitoring report, and adaptive management plan, demonstrates interim performance standards are being met. By copy of this correspondence, we confirm that you have satisfied the above requirements for the Year 1 Monitoring credit release; and 196.5 stream mitigation units (SMUs) constituting 10% of the mitigation bank site's total restoration and enhancement credits are now available for sale. To date, 40 percent (786 SMUs) of the total credits (1965 SMUs) have been released. Our records indicate that 589.5 SMUs associated with this mitigation site have been debited as of November 22, 2019. Therefore, the current total amount of credits available for sale is 196.5 SMUs.
