Send all suspicious email as an attachment to report.spam@nc.gov Corey, Thank you for your assistance, on what has been a very complicated submittal process, for what should be a very simple Cashiers Lake Dredge wetlands permit by the Corp of Engineers. Early on in our lake wetlands permitting process we had been advised by Sue Homewood to submit to NCDEQ for fast track stormwater permit and include the following. 1) Detailed lake dredge grading & EC plan, 2) Future Area Concept Development plan, 3) Proposed overall master Watershed Master plan. After submittal and lengthy discussions with the department, it is clear the department no longer grants approval for General Overall Master Watershed concept plans, and will only consider Master Watershed Plan approval when it includes a site specific development package with detailed impervious protection design elements ect. Since this current application is for Lake Dredging/Erosion Control only (no impervious surface), and the balance of the project site (outside the lake boundary) is clearly only at the Master Planning stage at this point, we respectfully request withdraw of our submittal application for Stormwater Permit SW1190703. After the Lake Dredging portion of this project is approved by the Corp , we look forward to resubmitting a complete development plan, along with detailed design plans that will meet all the current NCDEQ requirements for this watershed.
