Mr. Kevin Martin Soil and Environmental consultants 244 West Millbrook Road Raleigh, NC 27609 RALEIGH REGIONAL OFFICE Subject: Neuse River Basin Riparian Buffer Rules 1' Dear Mr. Martin: Glenwood Gardens NBRRO 99- 137 Wake County r On April 14, 1999, I met with you at a proposed development near the junction of Glenwood Avenue and Oberlin Road in Wake County. On that day, you requested that I both determined whether the circled drainage features, as indicated on the attached map, would require compliance with the Neuse River Buffer Rules and provide you I with written conformation of that determination. As depicted on the attached map, this evaluation determined that feature l# and 44. ?. 2# are both streams; however, only the highlighted portions of the map housed forest vegetation. Accordingly, it was determined that these portions of the riparian zone are subject to the Neuse Riparian Buffer Rule.
