Dear Ms. Dunford:
On July 6, 1999, I conducted a site visit of the stream feature involved in the above
referenced project. It was determined as a result of the site visit that the water body channel
present on the property was a intermittent stream and therefore subject to the Neuse River
Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of
Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code TI 5A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233). The channel
is a unamed tributary to Walnut Creek which is classified as Class "C" Nutrient Sensitive
Waters.
This office has assigned the reference number of NBRRO 99 136 to this project.
