On May 5, 1999, I conducted a site visit of the stream feature involved in the above
referenced project. It was determined as a result of the site visit that the water body channel
present on the property was a intermittent stream and therefore subject to the Neuse River
Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of
Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233). The
intermittent channel and the approximate placement of the buffer area is defined on the
attached plan. The channel present on the property is a unnamed tributary to Brier Creek.
This office has assigned the reference number of NBRRO 99 106 to this project.
