# Has the facility conducted its Analytical monitoring from Vehicle Maintenance areas?

Comment: Monthly monitorinq has been ongoing at the site since September 2014. Corning has taken all
reseaonable measures to evaluate sources of metals and TSS and has implemented several
corrective actions to mitigate stormwater impacts (see Amec May 26, 2017 report). To further
reduce potential TSS and metal impacts, the MRO recommends silt sack inlet protection for all
yard inlets and curb inlets in the drainage area for ouffalls 2 and 3. Once implemented Corning
can reduce the monthly monitoring requirements from monthly to quarterly. After 1 year we can
meet again to review the data and next steps.
Permit and Outfalls
# Is a copy of the Permit and the Certificate of Coverage available at the site?
# Were all outfalls observed during the inspection?
Yes No NA NE
■❑❑❑
❑ ❑ ❑
# If the facility has representative outfall status, is it properly documented by the Division? ❑ ❑ M ❑
# Has the facility evaluated all illicit (non stormwater) discharges? E ❑ 1113
Comment: All outfalls were observed during the inspection. Based on a review of past monitoring data and
site conditions, Corning could request representative site sampling status for ouffalls 3 and 5. In
an effort to further reduce TSS discharged at outfalls 2 and 3, silt sack inlet protection is
recommended for all yard inlets and curb inlets in the drainage area for outfalls 2 and 3.
