On October 1, 2019, Ms. Merritt, with assistance from staff with Wildlands, inspected the site and confirmed that the subject site had been completely planted, all monitoring plots were installed, and all stream restoration and enhancement activities appeared to be completed with all riparian areas, including the stream banks, seeded and stabilized. On September 11, 2019, the Division of Water Resources (DWR) received an As -Built Report from Wildlands for the subject site. According to the As -Built survey submitted with the As -Built Report, there are slight adjustments in the total amounts of buffer mitigation credits as compared to the Bank Parcel Development Package. The subject site has generated 266,899.40 ft2 of buffer mitigation credits. The credits being released have been modified to reflect any changes to the creditable acreage as proposed in the BPDP. DWR received a performance bond (#107063173) in the amount of $100,000 issued to Wildlands from Travelers Casualty and Surety Company of America, to cover monitoring and maintenance at the subject site. The term of this bond applies beginning September 4, 2019 and ends with DWR approval of the Year 1 Monitoring Report. Future credit releases will be dependent on both the renewal of this performance bond and the annual monitoring reports. Therefore, 30% of your Jordan Lake riparian buffer credits (0.30 x 235,714.40 ft2 = 70,714.32 ft2) plus 4,370.10 ft2 yields 75,084.42 ft2 that are now released. Additionally, 55% of credits within the pond footprint (0.55 x 31,185 ft2 = 17,151.75 ft2) that are now released. In total, 92,236.17 ft2 of buffer credits are being released and are now available to sell.
