Dear Mr. Zarzecki:
On April 65, 1999 I met with you at the subject property to conduct a site visit for the above
referenced project. This project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 99-078.
It was determined that the creek as it exits the existing lake (concrete spillway) is at least intermittent
streams and therefore subject to the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management
j Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing Riparian Areas, Administrative Code
d T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233).
In addition, the creek as it enters the lake is subject to protection. Both of these features are subject
Ito riparian buffer protection only where forest vegetation exists.
tIn accordance with the rule, sheet flow from stormwater into the subject stream must be maintained,
`r. to the maximum extent practical, through dispersing concentrated flow and/or re-establishment of
vtegetation to maintain the efficacy of the riparian area.
