Wake County
= On January 26, 1999, I met with you at the site of the proposed housing development on Henrietta Dupree's
Property. At your request, an evaluation of the feature that begins on Lot 9 was performed to determine
whether the site would require compliance with the Neuse Riparian Buffer Rules. This feature as indicated
w on the attached map, received by this Office on January 25, 1999, is not subject to protection under the Neuse
Buffer Rules until "off property". This project is referenced by this Office as NBRRO 99-066.
The proposed road crossing (off property) at Lots 19 and 20 will be subject to the protection of this Rule.
Attached you will find a Pre Construction Notification that needs to be filed for the impact of the road
crossing to occur before this phase of the development is begun. Please note, depending on the linear feet
or acreage involved in this project, there may be jurisdictional wetlands or waters that may require
concurrence with the Corps of Engineers. This letter only addresses the applicability of the Neuse Buffer
Rules.
