Based on information supplied by you, the compensatory mitigation requirements associated with the subject project are as follows: 0.84 acres of riparian, palustrine, forested wetlands. The NCWRP will provide the amount and type of required mitigation in Cataloging Unit 0303002 of the Cape Fear River basin. Dear Mr. Zarzacki: t On March 15, 1999 I met with you at the subject property to conduct a site visit for the above referenced project. This project is referenced by the Raleigh Regional Office as NBRRO 99-0. It was determined that ' there are several features on site that are at least intermittent streams and therefore subject to the Neuse River Basin: Nutrient Sensitive Waters Management Strategy; Protection and Maintenance of Existing Riparian Areas Administrative Code T15A:02B.0233 (NCAC 0233). The streams (features) have been delineated on the map received by this Office on the date of the site visit and the areas applicable to protection under the Neuse Buffer Rules are areas were forest vegetation exists and are as follows: Pond 1 has been drained. That feature and downstream are not subject; t From the channel (feature) above Pond 2 at Flag NBR 2 along a line toward Flag 104; Fifty feet from the edge of the water around Pond 2; and Fifty feet from the edge of the water around Pond 3 where forested.
