The boxes are splitter boxes which direct all flow up to (and including) the 10 year storm into the sand filter. The pipes leaving the box (circled on the attached) are set at the 10 year storm elevation based on our model and only take water towards the creek during storms above the 10 year regulatory threshold. If there is a flood plain and/ or buffer on McDowell, they should be able to discharge into either and allow the runoff to sheet flow and find its way to the creek. OWNER SHALL ENGAGE A QUALIFIED INDEPENDENT GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING TESTING AGENCY TO PERFORM FIELD QUALITY CONTROL TESTING. TESTING AGENCY SHALL TEST COMPACTION OF SOILS IN PLACE ACCORDING TO ASTM D2922 AND ASTM D2937, AS APPLICABLE. TEST SHALL BE PERFORMED AT EACH COMPACTED BACKFILL LAYER AT A RATE OF NOT LESS THAN ONE TEST FOR EACH 2500 SF OF FILL AREA OR ONE TEST PER EACH 100 LF OF WALL OR TRENCH LENGTH. 23.
