Wallace and Truby, Thank you for your PCN and attached information, dated 10/4/2019 (received 10/30/2019), for the above referenced project. I have reviewed the information and need clarification before proceeding with verifying the use of Nationwide Permit 29 (http://saw-reg.usace.army.mil/NWP2017/2017NWP29.pdf). Please submit the requested information below (via e-mail is fine) within 30 days of receipt of this Notification, otherwise we may deny verification of the use of the Nationwide Permit or consider your application withdrawn and close the file: 1) Please send the original PCN and plans submission, as well as any response to this correspondence, as electronic documents via email; 2) The plans submitted with the PCN include areas that were not included in the delineation report submitted to me by Pilot Environmental, and also does not show the correct delineation for a portion of the tract: a. Please provide the wetland delineation evaluation documentation for areas of the topographic drainage extending into Lots 23 and 24 and immediately west, as well as Lots 1-13. Once we receive this information we will determine if a verification site visit is necessary for this area. If these evaluations find additional areas of potential waters of the US, further evaluate avoidance and minimization of impacts to these resources and updated the project plans accordingly; b. The wetland areas shown from Lots 61-65 and east do not conform with the wetland delineation updated by Pilot Environmental on 10/25/2019. Please update the plans accordingly; 3) Please provide the Corps with your responses to the NCDWR Request for Additional Information dated 11/19/2019.
