Per our conversation we had last week related to the Joe Henry Access road (Gates Co.):
1. No mitigation was required per my onsite conversation with Krysta.
2. In regards to the usage of the access road, the only existing access to this section of the game
land is an undeeded (not controlled by NCWRC) access road that requires travel out of state
(into Virginia). The provided easement allows access to the property from the NC side. The
intent of the road is to provide access to the property. No parking or additional road work is
to be expected on the gameland side of the border. NCWRC is simply providing a controlled
access route to this portion of the gameland.
