Subject: Request for Additional Information
Stormwater Permit No. SW3190702
Weddington Pointe
Union County
Dear Mr. Greeson:
The Division of Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR), received a Stormwater
Management Permit Application for the subject project on July 30, 2019. A review of that
information has determined that the application is not complete. The following information is
needed to continue the stormwater review:
Please update the drainage area table in Part IV of the application to include the receiving
stream name, stream class, and stream index number. This information can be found
using the Surface Water Body Classification Map.
2. Please update the calculations to use only the main pool and exclude the forebay when
calculating the SA/DA ratio and average depth (Wet Pond MDC 1 and 2).
3. Please use the orifice equation as outlined in Part B of the Stormwater Design Manual
when calculating the drawdown time.
4. How was the temporary pool elevation for the wet ponds calculated? Note that it is not
acceptable to use routing calculations as the MDC are based on runoff volumes from a 1"
event, not flow rates from a 1 inch, 24-hour event.
5. Please submit a planting plan for the wet ponds that meets the requirements of Wet Pond
MDC 11.
6. Provide pdfs of all revisions, 2 hardcopies of revised plan sheets, and 1 hardcopy of other
documents. Pdfs must be uploaded using the form at:

If you need additional time to submit the information, please submit your request for a time
extension to the Division at the contact below. The request must indicate the date by which you
