There are generally two project areas as described below. Sewer Extension Area i — Pump station at Cape Fear Christian Academy with force main along US-421 to the existing gravity sewer at Airport Road. The project conveys wastewater to HRW's North W WTP. Sewer Extension Area 2 — Pumping Stations at South Harnett Elementary School and Anderson Creek Primary School with force mains that extend along NC-21o, Anderson Creek School Road and Overhills Road to the existing gravity sewer near the South Prong of Anderson Creek. The project conveys wastewater to HRW's South W WTP. Area t design includes a new too-gpm pumping station on the Cape Fear Christian Academy property and a new 4" PVC force main within US-421 right-of-way for approximately 3 miles, at which point the force main will connect to an existing sewer manhole near Airport Road. Area 2 includes a new too-gpm pump station on the South Harnett Elementary School property and a new 4" PVC force main along NC-210 and Anderson Creek School Road. The force main will then discharge to the proposed Anderson Creek School Pump Station (too gpm). A 4" PVC force main will then extend along Overhills Road for approximately 1.7 miles and terminate at an existing sewer manhole near the South Prong of Anderson Creek. Please note, the intent is to bid Fusible PVC as an equal to HDPE for creek crossings via Horizontal Directional Drilling. If a variance is required for this application, please indicate and we will eliminate it from the project scope and only specify HDPE to avoid a variance. Harnett Regional Water has reviewed and approved the plans. Erosion Control permit has been submitted for this project and an NCDOT Encroachment Agreement is under review.
