Inspection Summary:
Met with facility contact to review permit requirements. The permittee has not complied with permit requirements of
developing and implementing the Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan and sampling program.
Site investigation revealed a well maintained site. Stormwater collects at the loading dock and is pumped to the adjacent
drainage ditch. The ditch surrounds the facility and discharges across the road to the north. There is another discharge point
on the east of the facility leading from a covered area, but drains to the ditch. The ditch did not have dead vegetaton, but
needs to be sampled to ensure that contaminants are not present.
The area across the road is fenced in and is used for 55 gallon drum and 275g totes storage. The containers need to be
evaluated if they are sealed or not. Unusable containers should be disposed of.
Discussed the possiblity of No exposure. Additional actions are needed to qualify. An application and checklist is enclosed.
