Upon inspection, I noted that all materials are being stored inside and the newly installed dust collector is a well sealed system. There are no floor drains within the facility and no outfalls on site. Additionally, any process water used in this facility is collected and picked up by a third party company for treatment. I found that this facility does not have potential to affect stormwater runoff and should be granted a No Exposure Certificate. We also noted a newly installed dust collector and bagging system that could allow dust to escape and become subject to stormwater. The request for a No Exposure Certificate will be denied until all material storage is completely enclosed and protected from stormater and the dust collector is proven to prevent any escaped dust from becoming subject to stormwater.
