DWR SECTION
Smith Gardner, Inc. (S+G1 is pleased to submit this Discharge Monitoring Report 10MR1 for stormwater
samples collected during April 2019 at the Dunn -Erwin Landfill (Site( Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)
Landfill. The Site is located in Harnett County, North Carolina. The Site is currently permitted to
discharge water from landfill related activities under Certificate of Coverage (COCI Number
NCG120092. General Permit Number NCG120000.
Please note that after conversations with the Stormwater Permitting Program, the previously sampled
Stormwater Discharge Outfall (SD01 locations 3, 4, and 5 have been combined into one SDO location,
as the three (3) discharges commingle before leaving the property. The facility is required to monitor
discharge at the following SDO locations:
11 SDO-1, 21 SDO-2; 31 SDD-3, 4, 5
A third compliant sample for fecal coliform was collected at SDO-2 during this sampling; therefore,
the outfaLL is no longer in Tier 2 status. The sample collected at SDO-2 did exceed the benchmark
value for total suspended solids (TSSI; however, this is first reported exceedance of the TSS
benchmark. Semiannual sampling will continue during the fall of 2019.

The site is currently in Tier 2 status at SDO-2 for fecal coliform. A second compliant sample for fecal
coliform was collected at SDO-2 during this sampling. Monthly monitoring will continue until three (3)
consecutive sample results are below the benchmark value.

DWR SECTION
Smith Gardner, Inc. (S+G1 is pleased to submit this Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR1 for stormwater
samples collected during March 2019 at the Dunn -Erwin Landfill (Site) Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)
Landfill. The Site is located in Harnett County, North Carolina. The Site is currently permitted to
discharge water from landfill related activities under Certificate of Coverage (COC1 Number
NCG120092, General Permit Number NCG120000.
Please note that after conversations with the Stormwater Permitting Program, the previously sampled
Stormwater Discharge Outfall (SDOI locations 3, 4, and 5 have been combined into one SOO location,
as the three 131 discharges commingle before leaving the property. The facility is required to monitor
discharge at the following SOO locations:
11 SOO-1, 21 SDO-2; 31 SDO-3, 4, 5
The site is currently in Tier 2 status at SDO-2 for fecal coliform. Due to laboratory error, a sample was
not collected during March. Monthly monitoring will continue until three (31 consecutive sample
results are below the benchmark value.
If you have any questions, or require further information, please contact us at 19191 828-0577 or by e-
mail.

Smith Gardner, Inc. [S+G1 is pleased to submit this Discharge Monitoring Report [DMR( for stormwater
samples collected during January 2019 at the Dunn -Erwin Landfill (Site) Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)
Landfill. The Site is located in Harnett County, North Carolina. The Site is currently permitted to
discharge water from landfill related activities under Certificate of Coverage [COCI Number
NCG120092, General Permit Number NCG120000.
Please note that after conversations with the Stormwater Permitting Program, the previously sampled
Stormwater Discharge Outfall (SDO1 locations 3, 4, and 5 have been combined into one SDO location,
as the three (3) discharges commingle before leaving the property. The facility is required to monitor
discharge at the following SDO locations:
11 SDO-1, . 21 SDO-2; 31 SDO-3, 4, 5
The site is currently in Tier 2 status at SDO-2 for fecal coliform. Due to personnel changes at the
facility, samples were not analyzed from October to December of 2018. S+G is working with site
personnel to ensure that samples are collected at the required frequency from SDO-2. A compliant
sample for fecal coliform was collected at SDO-2 during this sampling. Monthly monitoring will
continue until three [31 consecutive sample results are below the benchmark value.
